Issued in 1989, livery 8 was the last version and was for 'Shell Motor Spirit'. It was the first Macau issue.

Livery: (Tampo)
Tank sides: 'SHELL MOTOR SPIRIT' with black shadow effect and Shell logo in red with black outlining.
Tank end: As tank sides but in oval shape with the Shell logo in the centre.
Cab sides: 'SHELL-MEX LTD' in red with black shadow effect with 'KINGSWAY, LONDON, W.C.2' in red below with red coachlining.
Header board: 'SHELL' in red within red coachline.

Variations/Rarities: It has a yellow body, white roof and black chassis but is the only one with standard black-painted hoses on the sides.
It has red 12 spoke plastic wheels.
There are no rare variations of this version.
